Hm.. that may well be the case ... it is indeed not a good start for future homeowners if you approach it in such a way that a potentially expensive system might be shut down at some point. Perhaps there are also differences between pure ventilation systems and systems with heat recovery.

Unless you want to apply for funding. Depending on the federal state, only central systems with heat recovery are subsidized.

It's not about the promotion, but about hygienic problems.

What I have now read from other threads is that the central ventilation system is apparently only available with [WRG] and the decentralized one depending on preferences with or without? Is that correct? When applying for funding through [KfW] for, for example, a [FKW 55] house, you can't avoid the central one including heat recovery anyway, from what I have been able to find out so far.
