However, we recommend heat recovery only in rooms where it makes sense; these would be the wet rooms as well as the kitchen. Of course, it also always depends on the provider who installs it.
Operating decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery only in individual rooms makes no sense at all. Especially heat recovery is one of the benefits from an economic point of view. Without heat recovery, I can just open the window and ventilate that way. Then I have 100% heat loss and have to reheat this entirely from my own pocket. But if I ventilate with heat recovery, I might achieve about 85 - 90% heat recovery, so I only need to reheat 15 - 10% from my own pocket.
In bathrooms, I have so far always installed fans without heat recovery and only in the form of exhaust fans, as it was hardly possible otherwise. Reversible fans with heat recovery have only recently become basically possible in bathrooms (or you have two fans installed in the bathroom) since a new component has now been introduced to the market. This allows, using a button, that the bathroom fan always runs in exhaust mode during usage for time x, while a fan coupled to the bathroom fan (also in another room) runs in supply air mode.
So no one has to sit in their own stink, and moisture is removed again when showering and bathing.
I always had the opinion that a decentralized ventilation system costs about 1000 euros per room. Now I was told that a Viessmann Vitovent 200 D would cost about 3000 euros per room. Can that be true?? Which manufacturer is still recommendable?
Thanks
3000.00 € per room... Is that thing decorated with gold???
Since I myself distribute decentralized ventilation technology, I can say that this would be completely overpriced. This price might be reasonable for 5 - 6 fans, but not for one.

For comparison:
I recently planned a ventilation system including installation for a customer with Inventer and with Sevi. The system with Inventer was about 1000.00 € more expensive than the one with Sevi.

Hello,
we are pleased that you take so much time and deal extensively with users' questions on the topic of ventilation. However, you must not forget to ensure that your self-promotion does not get out of hand; for everything else, there is your profile, as a regular offer, as far as you are requested to submit offers.
For this reason, I have also removed the offer text - which would have stood instead of the brackets below.
Rhenish greetings
