Hello Mycraft,

The repeated assertion does not make the core statement any more true, but rather continues to reflect "only" your personal opinion, which of course is yours to hold

Rhenish regards

Hello,

That is not correct. There are also decentralized systems where the builder has the choice of with or without heat recovery. It is true, however, that heat recovery often makes the decisive difference, for example, to achieve Kfw 70.

Ah - ok.
Maybe the version I described with exhaust fans in the wet rooms as well as window rebate ventilation for fresh air supply also counts as a ventilation system – I personally would not have considered it a ventilation system. To me, these are just a few exhaust fans.
Or are there actually other systems (I don’t know everything, since from the start only systems with heat recovery were an option for me)?

: which system was installed with you?

Hello f-p,

Yes; one, for example, is located in Berlin.

However, development does not stand still and any recommendation for or against a system can therefore always only be a temporary recommendation.

By now, we hardly offer the Berlin systems anymore because – from our point of view – there is something better from Wessling. I would like to describe this ventilation system as a hybrid system – although it is also referred to as a decentralized system; it combines the advantages of both systems. It is hardly more expensive and, among other advantages, it is possible to supply fresh air with one device to a good 75 sqm of living space. That it is the only system also certified to be installed in passive houses is “just” the cherry on top.

As I already wrote at the beginning, development does not stand still after all

Rhenish greetings

Yes, there are different systems, although I do not count the simple exhaust system with window frame ventilators as ventilation systems...

1. Simple exhaust system:

2. Decentralized ventilation system without heat recovery

3. Decentralized system with heat recovery

1. Central ventilation system with heat recovery (without heat recovery just imagine the heat exchanger is not there)
