Without phase, the switch could not switch anything with conventional wiring ....

yes and no. the question is not about the phase, but about the neutral conductor. it depends on how the motor is wired. I insisted that all three are in mine - there are electrical installations where the neutral conductor only goes up to the motor.

Well, theoretically you could lay a single conductor there. Does anyone really do that?!
NYM 3x1.5mm makes up the lion's share in conventional electrical installations.

yes. Tip into Google "Rollladen Schalter ohne " and see what it suggests as a search term :P

Just because the switch doesn't need a neutral conductor doesn't mean that a cable with exactly one phase was pulled there. That's what I want to say. The electrician uses his NYM 3x1.5mm cable and uses a few hundred meters of it in a single-family house. And for roller shutter switches, he then comes with a different cable, just for this purpose? That would be ridiculously stupid. But it's not impossible, yes. The OP will probably have to check that.

then the cables from the roller shutter motor are used, they are long enough. check inside yourself. I insisted on that, and I have all three down there, but not all are installation cables, there are also thinner ones with copper strands included. those from the motor. I also paid a flat rate of 200€ more for all the sockets as deep sockets, or double deep... otherwise the bunch of Wago connectors wouldn’t even fit behind the remote switch...
