A big thank you for the thread and the mentioned Shelly solution. Until now, I didn’t know how to make the switch solution smart in our home. I don’t even have to remove the switches because I have the revision flush-mounted boxes on the roller shutters. Great... and it’s also Alexa compatible. I immediately ordered 2 for testing. If it works, I’ll have to order 18 more.

Regarding light. Are the shellys permanently on? The storage (light color) of the WLAN Osram LEDs always gets lost at the top when I manually turn off the light with the switch. I am also looking for a solution for this.

I didn't understand what you want to do. Disable the switch? To me, it sounds like you don't want the switch at all. Why don't you remove the switch and provide constant power to the lamp?

Basically, you can place the 1-channel Shelly behind the switch and set it so that it is permanently on. Additionally, you can configure the Shelly so that it no longer reacts to the physical switch and can only be controlled via software (app).

Ok, maybe it was too complicated. I have 60x60 LED panels from Osram above that are smart. These are also not yet connected via Osram Gateway (like Hue Bridge). The problem is that the children don’t have a smartphone to control the smart function, and besides, they switch manually anyway. By switching off manually, all settings are deleted. Therefore, I am looking for a solution where a) the LED can be switched manually, b) the settings are not lost because of that, and c) it can be operated smartly.

Without knowing the LED part from OSRAM, I am surprised that the part does not offer the possibility to connect a permanent phase so that it does not always lose the settings. As I understood you, you switch it on and off with the light switch and after each time off the settings are gone (because there is no more power).

I would claim that the part also has a connection for a permanent phase so that it does not lose the settings. The phase switched by the switch then ensures on and off...
Then you could easily put a Shelly 1 in between that controls on/off.

What does "smart" operable mean to you?

Damn guys, I'm struggling with the Shelly again because I couldn't find a suitable video. There are only examples with separate power, switch, and roller motor cables.

The 5-core power cable from the switch goes once up to the flush-mounted box at the roller window casing (switch rocker clicks in). The 4-core cable from the roller motor also goes into the flush-mounted box. So both 4-core cables are each connected with one terminal except for one brown wire from the switch.

How should I wire the Shelly now?
