Underfloor heating - How to insulate the supply lines to the rooms?

Hi.

Contrary to the plan, all supply lines to the respective rooms have now been laid through the bedroom. I am not so happy about that.

How can I best insulate the supply lines without falling below the minimum coverage of the screed? Pipe diameters are 16mm and cement screed is being used. [Wellrohr]? But that doesn't really insulate.

Thanks

Two options are possible: 1. do not insulate because there is no space 2. buy pipe insulation (Armaflex or similar) and make the screed 6cm thicker (or however much is necessary). Adjust all door lintels, bathroom, etc. accordingly.

Thank you. Cement screed is applied with 65mm. With 16mm pipe, theoretically 9mm remain for insulation. Making the screed thicker will not be possible because of floor-to-ceiling windows. Is there a reason why the heating installer does not route the supply line through the wall? Everything goes through the door, and thus for each heating circuit there are about 30m just on supply and return lines. (15m plus 15m)

You have to ask the heating system installer. Why is there a heating circuit distributor in the bedroom, the worst room for it? You will now have to live with the fact that the bedroom will be one of the warmest rooms.

It is integrated into the sloping ceiling in the WC. If I had known that, it would have been moved to the hallway. Actually, four heating circuits should run through the wall from the WC. That way, only the main bathroom would still go through the bedroom. For whatever reason, the execution stuck to the plan.

There must be some kind of insulation. If in doubt, the corrugated pipe... that absorbs quite a bit. Since everything is controlled by KNX, the heating circuits won't run day and night either

What do you want to control extensively on underfloor heating? It should run with as low a flow temperature as possible.
