Two venetian blinds or a fingerprint scanner - which would you choose?

What is that supposed to achieve, it's nonsense, isn't it?

Isn't every additional insulation nonsense? Of course, keep an eye on the cost, but compared to the wall, the window on the exterior wall is rather the part where heat escapes at night.

Almost no one installs insulated blinds, total nonsense. Thats it!

We installed aluminum roller shutters – insulation was standard there. With plastic, it might be different.

I also have aluminum roller shutters on the upper floor, actually just to have the same color as the venetian blinds on the ground floor, and the thermal insulation was also standard for me. It feels like it now makes a significant difference in winter when the roller shutters in one room were down at night and in another they were not. However, I have not measured anything. I would not give up my roller shutters on the upper floor anymore. We are in a windy area, so I can also leave them down when the venetian blinds on the ground floor are already up again.
