Good day everyone,
I am looking for the following solution:
The TV LED strip should be connected to the TV USB port and the strip should light up when the TV is turned on. So no extra remote control or similar.
What do I need to pay attention to?

I think the common LED strips with remote control have to be turned on separately with the remote, right?
Thank you.

You can also do it yourself with a suitable power supply, the LEDs don’t care. The power just has to be appropriate. Many LED strips with remote control also simply turn on to the last setting when powered, so at least you can keep the control. Another problem could be that the USB port is not possibly without power when the TV is on standby. Test beforehand.

Or use the Philips hue Ambient Light Strip and the Hue Sync Box

with that you have basically retrofitted real Ambilight

The colors of the backlighting match the TV picture

At those prices, you might as well consider a Philips TV with Ambilight.

The LED strips "could" under certain circumstances also draw more "power" than the USB port provides. I would use an external power supply. I once did it myself on my Panas.LED. The LED light then became a bit dimmer and the TV "sometimes" had problems with supplying the LEDs. Possibly prefer an external solution. Check how many mA the USB port delivers...

What kind of LED strip is that? Possibly the power from the TV is not sufficient.

If you want it to be simple, I would switch to a master-slave power strip. The TV is the master, and when the power exceeds a certain value (TV switches from standby to on), the slave outlets are turned on. You can then plug in a power supply for the LEDs there – and other devices that should only run when the TV is on.
