I am already desperate My head is about to explode and I have to order the canopy in the next few days Which LED spots would you recommend to me? What would be your first choice? I can then talk to the supplier again to see if we can also use a larger hole size.

Sorry if I seem to make everything more difficult - I have gone into all sorts of details with our construction because I enjoy it and I am pleased with the result. Not all my decisions were perfect (normal) and the house still serves its purpose excellently. It is not a big decision that will determine your quality of life for years.

Therefore: If it’s easy - take the larger diameter. If not, it’s not a show-stopper.

It’s not worth overthinking if it’s not fun.

We have also planned a lot with the house construction

We have also done almost everything right.

Only I know a bit about LED spots and I need especially small ones that are hardly or rarely available.

My question would be: are the Luxvenum 24V Mini LED spots the best choice with a hole size of 34-37mm

Or would you recommend others that do not require a larger hole size or possibly even a smaller hole size?

I would like to have already chosen the right ones before I ask the question
Then I can say if, for example, 34mm is also OK.

If it stays at 27mm it will be difficult

would you have any alternatives to Luxvenum that are good? Luxvenum actually has everything you want, right?

24V
wide beam angle approx. 90 degrees
90 CRI
3000K (which we would prefer over 2700K)

I have found the following alternatives:

BESLED Veranda Spot direct connection to 230V
Article number: BSE400007

they also have 3000K and 300 lumens
but only 30 degree beam angle
CRI only 80

Hamulight
12V
with BAS to be able to dim through a dimmer.
92 CRI
45 degree beam angle
only maximum 12 LEDs per transformer (you can use multiple transformers that can then be dimmed by the wall dimmer, probably worse though, right?)

I would be very happy if you could take another look and tell me which LED spots you would recommend to me?

I have to decide on LED spots today I hope you can help me again since you know much more about this

30 degree beam angle gives you uneven lighting. Imagine the light emission as a cone under the fixture. A CRI of 80 is very, very low and suggests that some colors will look quite wrong. I would not touch those. Using multiple transformers and then taking 12V is an alternative. 45 degree beam angle is still little CRI of 92 sounds good. Do you mean the Marbella model? They can be dimmed with the remote control. Ask the manufacturer if one remote can also control 2 transformers. On-off at the main switch and dimming with a remote is not, in my view, a disadvantage.

I do see it as a disadvantage that you depend on the remote control.
Yes, the remote control is nice, but if you misplace it or something, then you're stuck.
And if we retrofit Smart Home, for example with Homematic IP, it would be very good if the Smart Home could not only switch the lighting on and off but also dim it always to the desired level.

Yes, I meant the Cree LED recessed spotlight Marbella base, the model should be compatible with a wall dimmer.
