Hi,
I am not aware of any requirement. Our house is an end terraced house that we bought from the developer and was built in 2013. The appearance was roughly specified by the developer and we liked it. Therefore, we did not discuss whether this was a building requirement.
The entire row of houses, consisting of four terraced houses, was designed in this style.
It is not a new development area.
The other (existing) houses on the street have a different appearance.

Hello,
These are relatively simple lights with aluminum housings and two GU-10 sockets each. I installed LED spots in them.
On the side facade, I no longer have the upper LED spots installed in order not to flood the neighbors with light...

As a height specification, I ordered from the electrician "top edge of window reveals" for the cable outlets at that time.
I then placed the lights centered on the cable outlets.

Best regards,
Michael

Does anyone have a tip regarding outdoor lighting on the terrace where you can possibly adjust the brightness via Iphone!? There would be 2 lamps.

...doesn't have to be a high-end system....no scheduling....doesn't have to cook or iron....just brightness up / down as needed?

Thank you ;)

Here, too, I can only mention my Philips Tuar again. You just need a bridge and then it can be controlled via the app.

You can also take any other one, then put in two Philips Hue bulbs...

Super beautiful house! We also have some Up/Down outdoor lights from Steinel. They can be controlled via app, but not the brightness. Inside we have Philips Hue, where brightness and color adjustment is very easy; I don’t know if there are matching outdoor lamps.
