How thick is the trunk already? According to the Tree Protection Ordinance Berlin, trees with a trunk circumference of 80cm or more are considered worthy of protection. Measurement is taken at 130cm above the ground. If this is not yet reached, approach the property owner and have the tree removed. The romantics here can all sit under the village lime tree, but I also believe that a lime tree directly at the house causes more trouble than joy. If the tree is already worthy of protection, exceptions from $5 BaumSchVO may apply.

It has nothing to do with romance when you are against the unnecessary (!!!!) felling of protected trees. Anyone who, after everything that is going on in the world, still hasn’t understood how much it is five minutes to twelve cannot be helped anymore. And yes, every single tree really does count. And this is by no means exaggerated. And with that, I’m out of here, this kind of thing only ever makes me angry, sad, and stunned.

Environmental protection, yes gladly, but just not at my expense.

However, the local court didn't exactly excel in service orientation by pointing out in the judgment that the judgment cannot constitute approval of payment or that this must be obtained independently from the competent authority. Somewhere in the legal remedy instruction in the written reasoning of the judgment such a note can still be included. An opinion is expressed in half a minute, together with refueling the chainsaw the ten minutes are still not up. The tree doesn’t come from a 3D printer or Amazon Prime but took several human generations / dog lifetimes to grow. With such expressions of opinion no one should be surprised that the ballots get longer and longer because people are forced to join "Karl the beetle was not asked" parties.

Lol, what a farce this is. I don’t believe ANY of you would hold that conviction if it affected you personally. Making big speeches, but driving to the bakery by car. Accusing others of recklessness, but wasting huge amounts of building materials on overly large new buildings. You are hypocrites, nothing else.

Sorry guys, I’m saying goodbye as a participant in this forum. I just don’t like the tone here. I explicitly said that I am currently only considering because of possible problems and opportunities. I never said that I would just cut down the part now. From the beginning, however, I have been, sometimes subtly, accused here of wanting only harm to nature. That I have no connection to nature at all, that I am conjuring up hypocritical arguments for my own benefit. Sorry, but I don’t need that. I don’t feel like being under constant pressure to justify myself here. And when I look at the projects of some other (larger) forum participants, I hardly believe THAT I, with my 120m² timber frame house (for which, by the way, trees also gave their lives) with photovoltaic system and wooden carport, am such a villain for nature and climate change. By the way, I have never been on a long-distance trip. I have never flown. I am actively (!) involved in an insect protection project. But of course you are the ones living in harmony with nature. Sure.

Thanks anyway for all the answers. I’m off then. Probably not suitable for this atmosphere here.
