Hello,

take a look at the HWAM 2630c.

The stove is only 43 cm wide, but (despite two additional panels on the right and left) it only requires a side clearance of 36 cm to a combustible wall.

You can find this information on the manufacturer's homepage on the right as a download "Gebrauchsanweisung" for the respective stove.

This stove has a DiBT certification and also the IHS system.

Regards,

Dirk

@totti: if it looks like in your sketch, you can do it as shown. however, the fireplace should not have a window facing the sofa.

it is also important that the fireplace door is hinged on the right when viewed from the front so that you can store the wood on the left and get it in properly. (because the sofa is on the right)

we have the fireplace set up exactly as you plan. About 30-40 cm behind the fireplace, a expensive speaker is hanging on the wall. I put a thermometer on it once, it doesn’t get 2-3°C warmer than the rest of the room.

attached are 3 pictures of how it looks with us (pictures taken right after installation) the fireplace is called "poleo 106 from attika"

our wood box is on the right of the fireplace.

ps: consider the fire-resistant flooring if you don’t have tiles (like us)

A very important argument from Dirk.

DiBT makes sense if you have a controlled residential ventilation system and a wood stove. It saved me the cost of an underpressure monitor.

Best regards

No problem: simply place a glass pane (of course suitable for the stove) underneath. It came from the stove fitter, cost about 200 euros.

My stove weighs around 300 kg. As a precaution, I had significantly more screed applied in the area of the stove. To be on the safe side. No extra costs, the screed installer just did it that way.

Best regards Thorsten

Hi, a) True, you are right. In the specific case, that wouldn't work optimally. b) I don't understand why the fireplace shouldn't stand on the panel. There are special panels for that, which are installed exactly for this purpose. Something like that was used for me. By the fireplace builder. In agreement with the BSFM.

Best regards Thorsten

Hey, first of all, many thanks to everyone for the answers. So it definitely should have 3 panes. It's just about the distance to the sofa. We have now fallen for the Contura 596 Style. A distance of 50 should be enough. Besides, the viewing windows are so high that the heat would radiate over the backrest of the sofa. Now we are still considering whether to take it with a swivel function. Does anyone generally know the stove or the brand?
