Living room: How to arrange the sofa, TV, and cabinets?

Of course, it depends on the setup. Just as the sofa is positioned in the OP, with both sections against the walls, I personally see no problem with the distance. The passage between the table and the TV is large enough to reach the end of the sofa, and if you need space while watching TV, you can simply push the table a bit closer to the TV, and then the distance sofa <-> table is also large enough.

To me personally, this looks like a very cozy TV corner.

And there would even be space for an additional armchair if you wanted to.

As I said, everyone as they like. But I just don't like the back and forth shuffling when you have plenty of space with 50cm more. Especially since this can certainly be achieved by moving the wall.

May I ask how you have decided? I also find the solution you suggested quite good. However, it is a pity that the stove is not visible from the sofa. In addition, the heat distribution could suffer a bit, meaning it is already very warm in the dining area and then, for example, 2 degrees cooler in the living room, which can be perceived as uncomfortable. It is similar at my parents’ home, which is why I would never put the stove in a corner of a wall.
