1. The pollen filter is an optional extra. Standard controlled residential ventilation systems do not have one. 2. We have a heat exchanger, or rather a controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery. 3. The manufacturer is Pluggit (may I mention them here?) – so not a cheap part, everything correctly installed and in order. 4. The kitchen smell (closed kitchen) still spreads throughout our entire ground floor. 5. Not only the kitchen smell, but also the smell from outside comes into the house. This is especially pleasant in winter when a neighbor is burning something they shouldn’t again. Sometimes it even brings tears to your eyes. 6. No, that is not the reason why we are building again now. We are not entirely happy with our current floor plan and we are missing a third children’s room. But our experiences are the reason why we are now building with solid construction and no insulation.
Well, I still don’t understand. 1. An F7 filter should at least be installed, right? 2. Sure, but an enthalpy heat exchanger is one with moisture recovery. That can be retrofitted. 4. Something doesn’t add up there. After at most an hour, you no longer smell that a roasting orgy took place here. 5. The problem can happen if the wind is unfavorable and the wood burners start up. But with a 10-minute window ventilation, you get the dirt into the house too...
Furthermore, I would really be interested in what customer service said about it.
