Doc.Schnaggl can agree with that. I used to sleep with the window open too. No matter the weather. My wife, on the other hand, strictly demanded a warm bedroom with the window closed and [completely darkened roller shutters]. That was really a problem for me in our previous apartment. Now, in the new house with [Controlled residential ventilation], it’s great. I get my fresh air and my wife doesn’t have to be cold. I just think it’s great!

I also think controlled residential ventilation is great, but for today I hate it

Thank you very much for the many responses. We are currently considering and have almost decided to install a controlled ventilation system, but in the floor structure. The floor will then be raised to 18cm to lay the pipes, those 3cm just have to be.

We have an extra row of bricks on the upper floor to maintain the room height of [2.50 m] later on, even with controlled residential ventilation in the floor. I already find that quite tight, but sometimes you just have to call it a day.

Well, with a prescribed eaves height of 4m according to the development plan, that is not possible. But we like sloping roofs.

Where is the problem in embedding the outlets in the ceilings as shown in the photo above?

We also have a prescribed eave height of 4m with a ceiling height of 2.64m!

Are there standardized positions for individual rooms where the outlets must be placed? I don't need the air outlet directly above the head in the bedroom, and in the kitchen, you could probably connect the extractor hood there... Especially with our open-plan kitchen, that would be great because of the smell!

Do you still have to ventilate in the bathroom after showering for a long time?

How much did you pay approximately? Is €12,000 reasonable? What are the qualitative differences, and what should be considered?
