Hello everyone,
I saw a perfect semi-detached house solution in Switzerland and wonder why this solution is not seen more often... what could be the reason?
The two houses are not built together but stand about 2 meters apart, so there is a passageway. Of course, there are no windows on the passageway side. BUT: each has the front door (opposite each other). The passageway thus functions as the entrance for both houses. The connection between the two houses consists of the roof over the passage/house entrance. This way, no land is wasted, but simply cleverly solved. Advantage: everyone has their own detached house, and thus ultimately not only 3 own walls...
