How does he get to your construction power box? It's locked. Or did your construction company perhaps say "yes"?

Did you check with your developer if the other developer had agreed on anything?

The people on the construction site are usually not in competition. They help each other out and mostly know each other from working on various construction sites.

Who pays for the construction electricity? You or the developer who already included it in the price?

So better not make a big fuss but investigate the cause.

The other day my colleague stole a pen from me, so I took his ruler^^

Relax, on construction sites things aren’t taken so seriously. At most, you lose 5-10 euros if they use your connection for a few days. Communication isn’t always a strong point for construction workers, they just get on with it. Just tell them, because it won’t take long and you might need their help sometime. If the guys help you lift just 2 pallets off the truck of the building materials supplier with the crane, you’ve already saved money. Or you can use their vibrating plate for 10 minutes, or whatever. If you’re friendly and not too petty with the clumsy ones, you’ll gladly get something from them too. Think about it and make something of it.

Ok, I'll try to swallow it...

By the way, I pay for the construction power myself and not the shell builder, and regarding the question: it hangs after the meter, so at my expense.
I'll talk to them.

So... if it’s a drill... no problem. Borrow something from them and that’s it.
If it’s a tower crane, it’s connected three-phase with 32A and can easily consume a few kWh. Maybe you still have to dig a trench, build a wall, ... whatever. But if they’re only doing the foundation slab, not much can have been used yet.

But if you pay for the construction power yourself, you must have commissioned it, right? Then there should also be a protocol with the meter reading on the day of commissioning! Read the current meter reading as quickly as possible with a photo, then you’ll know if we’re talking about 5 or 500€.

Better this way, don’t burden yourself with something like that right from the start, it leads to nothing. Just ask nicely if they need electricity for longer. Maybe it’s only until their electrician finally comes and connects their own construction site power supply. There isn’t much work involved with the formwork of the base plate anyway. A bit of circular saw work for boards and planks and a total of one crane hour, that’s not worth mentioning. We had similar cases where we helped or accommodated the neighboring construction site. When 10 tons of gravel arrived last week, I went over with 3 non-alcoholic Radlers. Suddenly, someone came with the wheel loader and drove the gravel behind the house and spread it. That would have been at least 5 hours of work with the wheelbarrow. This way it was done in 20 minutes after their quitting time. With the 5 hours gained, I can chase grooves or do other DIY work that quickly saves me a few hundred euros. And always smile nicely. When the heating’s warm-up program runs, you’ll feel dizzy – although hopefully the heating is already running on the cheap heat pump electricity then...
