What about the good cable connection? Isn't that outdated anymore?

The advantage of owning a home is the satellite dish, which, with a reasonable initial investment, thereafter delivers virtually unlimited channels free of charge. The local public access channel is often only available via cable, but that isn't really that relevant. Therefore, the answer to the initial question is: satellite dish on the roof.

Or both. Cable has the advantage that fewer cables need to be laid, as it can still be split before the device. We actually wanted cable because DSL only brought 3MBit for us so far. But since Unitymedia has not moved since the house connection was commissioned, we will probably withdraw the order. The dish is on the roof anyway

Telecom, electricity, and water were very unproblematic. I was still able to reschedule the appointment by two days a week earlier, and it worked perfectly. If [UM] were essential, I would also follow up. But since Telecom now also offers 100 MBit, [UM] with its limitations is becoming less interesting, and I'm considering saving the money.
