You only incur costs for both mentioned connections if you actually use them via a contract. The costs depend on the type of contract and the scope (should be clear enough).

And then there are the one-time installation costs. These are around 1000 euros for both, as far as I know. And both offer a discount if you sign a contract directly for the first two years.

Costs for the cable connection (incl. contract phone + internet): approx. € 550 Costs connection Telekom: approx. € 200 Just a gut feeling, as I don't have my documents at hand right now (Unitymedia in NRW) Otherwise as toxicmolotow writes.

Unitymedia costs 398 euros if no more digging is required on the property or EL is done. Telekom costs 399 euros plus garden digging (again EL possible here).

Unfortunately, there is no cable available with us - UM was really a great thing!

Unitymedia becomes more expensive, for example, if the connection is laid as a precaution only and no contract is signed.
