Solid wood house - sound insulation, heat protection

What does the architect say about it? For me, this is clearly a topic for the architect!

Our attic is not developed. 40cm insulation between the rafters, only two small gable windows, unheated fairly balanced temperatures. Just doesn't help.

Heat protection is consistent, external shading regardless of the construction type.
