Solar thermal and pellet heating, heating support / hot water

Using photovoltaic electricity to heat with an electric heating element is madness. Feeding it into the grid for compensation is significantly more economical.

Thank you for the other suggestion, unfortunately I doubt that I can retrofit a heating element with this buffer. I would also prefer if we stick to the topic of [ST], in the other threads it quickly fizzled out and only one page was informative out of 5 pages. I am currently leaning towards the Wolf with 9.6m2 for 3000 euros, I still need to have an offer made with a mounting at 50 degree inclination.

Wouldn't you rather do something "meaningful" with the 3000€? For example, with our air-to-water heat pump, we don't even pay 10€ /month for hot water. Even without factors like interest and possible repairs, it would take 25 years before it might pay off.

We have decided against an air-to-water heat pump and in favor of the pellet heating system, what would be sensible?

The ST if possible according to the energy consultant?

The ST never pays off....
