Of course, you can place the switches/outlets however you want, but usually everything is done in a straight line. I wouldn't approve that either.

Such things are always easy to say. But he actually has hardly any other choice. It doesn’t look good, but it’s not a defect either. Changing that is actually not possible with reasonable effort.

That is plaster ... this spot is indeed dirty, but it is not like that in other places

Is it really not a defect? If we wouldn't have it changed, should one demand a credit here?

If that is plaster, then you simply slacked off for 2-4 weeks, had the plasterers come, even had the electrician set the boxes with frames, and then you come here and ask after a month if that is OK? Seriously??? I don’t see that as a defect (maybe visually), it’s not nice but you also ordered X sockets according to the construction specification. It does not say that they have to be flush.

Now the effort depends on the condition of the walls. Accordingly, the correction can be quick and straightforward or rather complex and expensive. You cannot determine it categorically based on the picture.
