Sort of. I recently got to try it out. Alexa + Loxone + electric roller shutters. If you use exactly the learned keywords, it worked quite well. However, personally, I have an issue with Alexa & Co because of the dependency on external infrastructure. But that's a topic for a separate thread.

My wife wants one of those Alexa devices to play around with. And the plus version already has a hub integrated. Do you then really only need to replace the control on the roller shutters? They are supposed to be available from about 15 euros/piece.

I somehow still can't quite imagine that.

Tell your wife, Amazon can then hear everything you both say. Everything. They say they don’t do that, but they are Americans, completely shameless about that. And if necessary, your wife might prefer to close the blinds with the switch, like before. She can still manage that. Surely. Karsten

But Alexa will very likely move in here. They already know everything anyway.

Complete roller shutter control via Alexa. So actually no switches anymore then.
