Sliding door on a load-bearing interior wall - How to cover it?

I would like to point out that you may eventually need to access the fittings. So something with an inspection opening / removable design. My nephew has a glass sliding door that he clad himself with a wood/GK combination, quite thin, but it will probably be about 10 cm. He extended the cladding across the entire width of the existing wall there so that there isn’t a weird step.

Yes, definitely fully clad on the kitchen side, then it doesn't have to be so thin. You still have about 10cm of space by the other door (does it lead to a pantry?). Has that already been built? If necessary, move the door a little.

Thanks. Always following up, that's great. We're currently discussing it as well. There are concerns that the wings will always be in the way in the kitchen. Usually, the door is open 98% of the time.

I would have said they are not in the way, because on one side there is the wardrobe anyway, so whether there is a grand piano leaning against it or not doesn’t matter. I don’t know what is supposed to be on the other side, another seating area or something?
