Single-family house with Frisian gable and double garage, any advice?

Hello dear house-building forum members,

we are currently planning our single-family house with Frisian gable and double garage.
We have created a first drawing of our future house and I just wanted to ask if you have any suggestions for improvement.

Garage in the south?
Why this hallway by the office?
Where do you put your wardrobe? Shoes, wet jackets.

You also waste about 30 sqm on the hallway.

These are the things that would bother me the most. The room layout is not at all to my taste, and neither are these diagonal doors, but you have to like that, or not.

About 1 km as the crow flies from the garage is a highway. We expect a bit of sound insulation from the garage. From noon onwards, we should also have sun on our terrace (planned in front of the kitchen and living room) :-)

Above we have drawn the hallway because otherwise we would have no natural light in the hallway. Below, the hallway is not exactly small. You could probably simply straighten the wall of the kitchen and living room without slopes with the wall of the pantry.

Why is the room layout not to your taste at all? What would you change? We would really like to be able to go directly into the house from the garage. That means that next to the garage there should be a hallway or utility room. Also, we want the living room with a large door directly next to the kitchen. Living room and kitchen should, if possible, be oriented to the south. Additionally, we would like to sleep downstairs.
