Don't put the cart before the horse: first have the house inspected by an expert. They can assess everything on site and then estimate what needs to be done. They can also see what amateurs have done and what professionals were involved. This assessment might also be useful for you during price negotiations. If you decide to buy the house, the question is how much actually needs to be done. I would handle a few trades myself. But often there are craftsmen who cover several trades within the company. That would make sense then. For example, last year we renovated the ground floor with such a small "construction company" and they did the interior plastering, drywall, basement insulation, and screed, as well as a few small things like new window sills. Then we only needed a tiler and a sanitary company. This way coordinating the trades was relatively straightforward. But it really depends on what needs to be done. For a complete core renovation, you can certainly get "real" construction contractors.
You are right, but I am impatient about the appointment with the expert. I thought I might perhaps get a VERY ROUGH estimate here of what the simple renovation of the moldy basement without other damp rooms plus the roof renovation of about 110 sqm flat roof would cost...
