Yes, that may be, the owners have done nothing since 2013 and before that "probably nothing much was done either."

That sounds strange, but totally understandable: the private seller already had over 100 inquiries after 2 hours...

Inquiries are not buyers. And an immediate deletion is naive on the seller's part. But that should not be your problem. Expect that you will have to keep searching – out of 100 mentioned inquiries, 50 are very interested, 20 can buy, 2 definitely want it.

It was similar for us. The real estate agent took the property off the market after less than 48 hours because he was overwhelmed by inquiries. Let me know how it goes!

Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense to tell you something that has no substance. If someone now tells you yes, you can remove the mold for €30,000 and the roof will cost the same again... what good is that to you? Nothing. Because it would be a wild guess. Plans for the house are available at the building authority or not. For ours, no plans were available anymore, only one hand-drawn by the previous owner. Wiring plans are usually only available for newer houses.
