, I think you should take a closer look at the drawing! The washing machine and dryer will be placed in the utility room under the stairs. Additionally, the stairs will be completely enclosed and either cast in concrete or built soundproof. Furthermore, the stair railing will be made of masonry and behind the wardrobe, which will also be masonry.

Also, this is not a floor plan from a construction company, but ours worked out with the architect, as we will be building ourselves.

In the bedroom, it will probably be placed against the wall on the left side, so there should be enough space in the room.

Why can't I shake the feeling that you don't like the critical comments?

Overall, I don't think the floor plan is that bad, even if there are some things I wouldn't like (but that's a matter of taste).

However, I also have to say that I find the layout of the bedroom together with the dressing room very unfavorable. It starts with the nightstand, which is right in the middle of the "walking area," and ends with the dressing room, which you always have to leave through the bedroom. Doesn't the partner wake up because of that? (Aside from the fact that I can't really understand the issue with the dressing room in relation to the partner waking up anyway. When my husband's alarm goes off, I'm awake anyway, so he can just gather his things in the bedroom. ;))

I have absolutely no problem with criticism! That’s exactly why I posted it here—to hear various opinions and among them negative ones to reconsider what can be improved!

Maybe it comes across the wrong way?! If so, then I apologize!!

Strangely, I can’t understand all the "my partner wakes up when I get up" (or vice versa). I usually get up before my alarm goes off, and if it does go off, my wife just keeps sleeping. However, searching in the closet with the light on doesn’t work for long, she wakes up eventually.

@Topic I don’t think the floor plan is bad, but I’m not sure if the wardrobe under the stairs isn’t too small for 4 people.

Did you see my smiley? I also just go back to sleep if I’m still tired. But it doesn't bother me if I briefly wake up and something is being looked for in the bedroom. Therefore, I always find the argument of "waking up" the partner as an important reason for a dressing room somewhat amusing. If someone really wants a dressing room, then they should have one. I, for one, don’t need one, especially not to prevent the partner from waking up when getting up.
