Glad the style is well received. We are planning fishtail tiles and roofed dormers.
It will definitely look good.
Construction will take place in Poland
Why did I think so? ;) But even there I see €200,000 as quite sporty.
The parents’ bedroom is intended downstairs for the long term.
Therefore, we will initially use the bedroom upstairs.
Why is there no space for a double bed, can you enlighten me?
Yep:

Once here on the ground floor: standard double bed size, the bed has to be placed partly under the window, the passage with a closet is too narrow.

Here you can turn and twist the bed as you like: the sloping roof always gets in the way (the 2-meter line should be roughly between the beam and the dormer corner).
We have planned large walk-in closets for the children’s rooms and our bedroom, so we wanted to save a separate dressing room.
Haha... dressing room... where?
Can you elaborate on the toilet? Why is it a no-go past the stairs?
Because you want privacy when you have to pee at night going from the bedroom to the bathroom. And a staircase is the main traffic area in a single-family house.
I would simply swap the staircase and the WC...
I’m still looking for the plan. The upper floor only consists of children’s rooms lined up one after another, and then at the top right and top left the necessary rooms labeled as bathroom and bedroom. The open area then just becomes a reading corner because symmetry must be maintained. The bathrooms are above the living room and not on top of each other. Hidden staircase, but large foyer... I have already said something about the rest.
Did you get the architect somewhere? Snagged a bargain?
Sorry, just had to say it!
because she can't stand cooking smells.
Then she should either avoid the kitchen or you should only do a kitchenette and use a delivery service ;)
