What I don't understand: There are so many better floor plans where you don't have 45° walls. Why this one?

The house has the dimension 10.15 m x 8.48 m

That was a suggestion from the developer. It was the first draft. That's why we are currently looking for ideas or improvement suggestions

no, well if you don't rely on the [Gästezimmer], then get rid of it...

Personally, the bedroom is way too big for me, and the children's rooms are too small. Do you have a basement? Where do you want to hang the laundry?

Hello,

I really like the 45° angles. Why these are sometimes referred to as a "last resort" here is not clear to me - please enlighten me about that.

What would personally bother me on the ground floor is the staircase, which almost divides the hallway area in two.

The bathroom on the upper floor is also a bit too small for me, but I could live with it if the bathtub and shower swapped places - when you enter the bathroom in this plan, you walk straight into the "wall" of the shower - I don't find that visually very appealing.

In the bedroom, I don't find the 45° wall so practical, on the contrary - it significantly reduces potential closet space.

Regards,

Dirk

I am not thrilled either. Basically, I think the bay window is completely unnecessary both downstairs and upstairs. It has no function and certainly cannot be furnished; so it is just a cost factor. Without views, though, it's hard to say. By the way, if there is going to be a guest room, then also a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor. Or are the guests always supposed to shower upstairs with you... :p A knee wall of 1 m is actually normal, why should that cost more? Hopefully, you have obtained comparative offers. To be honest, the longer I look at the floor plan, the more I agree with Mycraft. Not only is the upper floor with this bedroom (terrible like that, better to remove the bay window and make the children's rooms the same size!) unacceptable, but the ground floor is also not acceptable. Much more can be made out of it. Take a look at other example floor plans on the internet.
