I find it very well done, the minor defects were mentioned and can hardly be resolved without creating issues elsewhere... Garage interior width 7.23m...hmm, am I right in assuming that 3 of the 5 cars are only used very rarely? These then practically side by side at the back? For everyday use, it would be too tight for three to handle comfortably (about 50cm door opening possibility), but for exceptions it probably works. "In front" towards the gate then 2 plus trailer? How wide is it? I think every cm in width helps here.

Kitchen size would also be suitable for a small restaurant ;)

Thank you very much in advance for your feedback. I’m very happy that the floor plan is well received and not torn apart ;)

The staircase has a window on the landing up to the upper floor. Unfortunately, it is only shown on the plans on the ground floor. The windowless guest WC is the drawback we accepted in order to have the rest downstairs coherent.

We had the bedroom on the left side of the plan and the walk-in closet in the middle at one point. But because the walk-in closet then had two doors, there was no space left for wardrobes. This large shaft is the service shaft for various things on the floors. From there, everything is distributed radially into the rooms. I forgot to mention this in the introductory post.

Something like that ;) A different one for every occasion :)

That is exactly how it is supposed to look in the garage. In the front left a small vintage car, next to it the two everyday cars so you can drive out without problems. In the back row the two convertibles. In summer one of the convertibles moves to the front, and an everyday car goes to the back. The trailer can also stand behind the garage outside if it really gets too tight (there is another garage door at the back, after all).

With the garage width and 3 cars side by side, it already gets very tight to walk through. Where are the bicycles stored? Do you have to go between the cars? I have more space between the cars and even there you have to be careful. An MTB already has a handlebar width of about 700mm.

I was just too tired last night :-) But of course I noticed that the dimensions mostly deviate from the nominal size (which leads to sloppy workmanship). They did not skimp on load-bearing walls. The pull-out staircase is drawn very narrow. I would not brick up the chase shaft channel between the bathrooms, but rather just put an installation wall between the bathrooms here. Air movement causes dust deposition – I would reconsider the combination of occasionally moved collector vehicles with utility vehicles – also with regard to insurance: storage in individually lockable scattered row garages is much more discreet.

um, I have to admit that we don’t own any bicycles yet :) That will probably change once our son is of biking age. Over the weekend we printed out the real cars and parked them. I think that should work. If something bigger ever needs to get through from behind, you just have to drive a car out. It was never any different in the single garages at my parents’ place either. But thanks for the comment!

That is exactly planned that way.

At the moment we are waiting for the execution plans so that we can contract the shell construction. And hopefully it will start soon :)

What would be unacceptable for me in a house of this caliber is the kitchen. The distance between the rows is far too wide and the kitchen is too narrow for an island. Since the kitchen needs to be wider and thus the big sliding action begins, this is not a trivial matter.

Back row 60cm
Distance 120cm
Island depth 100-120cm
Distance to the right wall 80-120cm

That means the room must have a width of at least 360cm...

Alternatively, tall cabinets at the bottom of the plan and then a huge island in the middle of the room. But as the kitchen is currently laid out in the plan, it is an absolute horror...

I don’t want to tear apart the plan but only improve it

Regards
