Building in Munich, you can find here (where I'm not sure if your build wouldn't be peanuts for their, in my opinion, recommendable architecture firm) and (whose architect is not personally on my must-get-to-know list). I would not take anyone at the full HOAI rate who does not correspond to my mnemonic "3+5=8."

I'll take a look at gregman22's thread :) In a city like Munich, I didn't expect the search for an architect to drag on this long. Last year we didn't even get a response from some firms. Especially since, budget-wise, we're not exactly setting the lowest standard but planning well over 1 million.

Well, in M(UC)* you’re still a small fish as a simple millionaire ;-) and you can make many mistakes when approaching architects. Which way did you inquire? - You’re also welcome to use the method in post #39.

But you found some and don’t tell the eagerly waiting and because they don’t have time ... or were you just not clever enough to include that here right away?

Wouldn't help much - we are still completely at the beginning of the planning, meaning I can say exactly zero about competence, reliability, or anything else - so I prefer to hold back. Besides, we only got involved by chance because another project fell through (due to failed financing) - meaning, if we continue with the architect, she will be blocked again, and if we don’t work with her, there are reasons that would lead me not to recommend her anyway.
