Which example? You don’t configure a house in 10 minutes. He probably already did the rest at home. Maybe then transferred it in 10 minutes.
So programming a little myself wouldn’t be a problem. I think I already understand the logic behind it and then my enthusiasm for such topics from my youth should do the rest here. The costs are quite high, especially at the beginning.Although the example I described was configured by our "standard electrician" on site in 10 minutes. The tricky part is the logic. For example, we wanted to switch the lights in the bathrooms via PM and have them dimmed heavily in night mode. That also worked. Unfortunately, the touch function of the glass switches to turn on the lights was overridden after the presence detector’s follow-up time, so the lights went off again. The reason is known, but our electrician had no solution ready at first. So we initially configured a compromise. We will try to handle the rest ourselves over time.
Window costs seem very low to me for a 1 million property.
We have 83 sqm of window area with lift-and-slide elements, various glass parapets, most floor-to-ceiling.... etc.... and are at 50,000 euros.
One of the biggest items for our house.
Rationally considered, it is too much money just for living. Emotionally I believe it is a good investment.
Otherwise: grab a schnapps, close your eyes and push through. Much bigger houses have been built!
There are always risks, but the reserves are more than sufficient so that you don’t collapse financially....
