Funny, me again. I also read up on KNX and liked to do the programming myself; in the end, it’s all simple logic that our profession should master. Since I was once warned because of a well-meant link (advertisement) and cannot send a private message due to my level, feel free to get in touch; I can highly recommend a KNX expert in the Bavarian area.

Just google KNX-Bibel (anyway a clear recommendation, but best as an eBook because it's colorful) and pay attention in the foreword/acknowledgments to a name that couldn't sound more Bavarian.

Thanks, bought it and found the reference. I will follow this up now. When would be the appropriate time to address the topic? Already now, before submitting the building application? In principle, there shouldn’t be any difficulties regarding the planning, but you never know!

Basically, the earlier the better. After submitting the BA is definitely not too early.

I would leave it. The household budget is way too tight. What if the blockchain rationalizes your job away and robots take over?

Nonsense, even the truck driver will not be rationalized away in the next few decades. Increasing complexity in technology and especially administration will permanently keep the economic hamster wheel running. If a robot can take over your job, then the job is rightfully abolished. Or is someone actually supposed to spend 8 hours a day in bodywork welding the exact same spot??
