No depth, but two side by side fit exactly in the width.

yeah, that's true. I'm thinking about it. but I still hope to find the "optimal" solution somewhere. the system with the rail at the bottom is great, I like it. I've seen that at hailo (where I got my kitchen waste separation from, super) and other waste separation specialists. my desired solution would be rails at the bottom, then a single large (up to 53 x 53 cm) but not too high (up to 30 cm) container, just for paper.

we'll see, I still have time. the packaged tall cabinet has been lying in the basement for a long time.

it will probably come down to me building the desired inner drawer with the appropriate rails myself... the "fundgrube" is looking forward to my visit.

ps. I've now found something I like, I'm building the drawer and using a full-extension bottom pull-out from blum.

The Tandem or Movento underfloor runners are also nice, but you have to build the drawer completely yourself. They are also available for mounting on the floor, which is practical if a hinge on the side is in the way.

Cheaper than Blum again is the Pole.

Even cheaper are the runners used for the KOMPLEMENT drawers from the bargain bin, but they wouldn't be good enough for me.

This week I have night shifts and, as threatened, was at the Ikea outlet today. I got some great bargains that are now waiting in the basement for autumn.

Total 40 euros less (Thursdays) 20% Ikea customer card discount on outlet items!! = total 32 euros instead of 138 euros

I’m thrilled, they definitely knew I needed these parts...

Maybe I’ll find a b60xt60xh40 extension and a 120cm high 60cm deep Metod side panel for internal division with the corresponding drill holes in the next 3 months.

I’ll buy the fronts new, as the likelihood of finding the desired ones in good quality at the outlet is low.

Quote "Just cut 3 cm out of the middle of the back panel of the Maximera"

Because of today’s bargain, I’ll do it that way. I just have to endure the squeaking noise when sawing...

Best regards, Robi

Thanks again for the thought-provoking tip
