I have to honestly say: I still maintain that it's just a storage room. It may be that over there they call it this or that - but there are certainly no regulations for "closets," in German Kleiderschrank, regarding the doors - some do it "this way," others "that way," and you have come to know it "this way." I think imitating that now is silly. Basically, it's similar with the hidden doors to the pantry: you fixate on some thing, here: door, and want to have it. In the end, a normal room door also works and is probably more practical here because it simply functions. One may have this whim about a storage room, even though I pragmatically just see the usefulness of having a room for all the clutter - no matter what kind of door is in front of it. If necessary, a curtain will do. Something different, instead of reproducing the past ;)As I said, rather a whim of mine... and we actually loved the closets... Thanks to "Container Store" we then equipped them with shelves and the box was ready (For those familiar with the USA)
