We have baseboards. You do advertise a bit that you can go right up to the wall and then just seal the gap from the insulation strip, but everyone from Senso we spoke to who also has children advised using baseboards :)

Yes, we lived with protective fleece in various places for several weeks until everything was done. ;) But I have to say, the floor is not more sensitive than parquet (I think).

For us too, however, our children are already older and my husband would prefer without. However, I have concerns regarding the vacuum cleaner brush, which without skirting boards will surely leave its marks at some point if you’re not careful.

That is apparently exactly the case - that it always eventually turns gray

Many thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts! I would be very interested to know: how sensitive are your two Senso floors and how does this manifest? Can the floor’s sensitivity be compared to tiles or rather to parquet? How about furniture marks or how does the floor react, for example in the area of dining chairs, which are always pushed back and forth? Do you see first signs of wear and if so, where/how did these occur and how pronounced are they? Sorry for prying, but I’m very glad to have "come across" someone who already has experience with the Senso floor :) Of course, I would be happy to receive an answer. Best regards!

A comparison is difficult, especially after such a short time. Imprints from furniture, even heavy cabinets, are not visible at all, neither on Bcrete nor on Fusion. We have given all the furniture felt gliders – so far nothing has happened, but we also don't want to take any risks. We have a few scratch marks in the vestibule, presumably from stones under street shoes, and a white line from moving in our couch  But otherwise, it proves to be quite robust. I might say, like parquet. Where you really need to be careful is with colors. Our children already have a few spots in the children's rooms where they drew beyond the paper on the floor with felt-tip pens or ballpoint pens, and so far I haven’t been able to remove the color.
