I did ask you how much you want to spend. Not what you DON'T WANT TO SPEND.

I could have also considered a loan for 800k€, but I didn't want to!

So: House how big? With basement? Garage? At least which KfW standard? What standard for the house construction? Land 180k€

The rest you can figure out yourself.

That is the squaring of the circle.

Just based on gut feeling, timber frame is out, the filling is not necessarily environmentally friendly.

Solid wood is renewable – I consider a good ecological balance to be a myth. Even if I get stoned for saying that immediately.
In Lithuania, there is a large modern plant that produces walls in cross-lamination. I see the world tour our house has been on. Planned regionally, still ordered in Bavaria, the truck came from Lithuania with walls from Lithuania and Austria, the roof came from the nearby Spessart. Whether the wood came from there as well or somewhere else, no idea.

To my knowledge, there is no list that shows the ecological footprint of building materials.
You won't find anyone who gets the construction wood from the forest 3 km away or forms the stones in the local clay pit.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for approaches for...

About 120 m2 each?
Basement still undecided. Probably not.
KfW doesn’t matter. But use as little as possible sensibly.
Standard functional.
Plot €150,000–200,000

How did you build?

Well, I gathered that the plots are around 200k (including property transfer tax). Then a house for 300k is supposed to go on it, because 600k might be possible but is not wanted... so I’m calculating with 500k.

Of course, a concrete answer regarding the set limit would be better.

What does that mean? Please don’t be so vague...
