No, but certainly not a 100% chemically manufactured product that emits gases. Whether with or without [blauer Engel]. It is and remains PVC. In the 70s/80s, it was removed en masse because it contained carcinogenic substances, and today the industry sells it to us as a versatile all-rounder. Various tests prove that the floors still emit toxic gases today. This is old wine in new bottles...

I would rather rely on linoleum, cork, parquet, or laminate.

Please remember to avoid tap water. It is transported by suppliers through plastic pipes.

Links are not allowed here. Just check for yourself. For example, [Ökotest]. Besides, the Blue Angel only indicates that the known substances are present in low or no concentration. However, there are many substances that we still do not know whether they are harmful to health in the long term or not. You should at least keep that in mind when choosing such a floor. What is trendy today can be hazardous waste tomorrow - see asbestos, amalgam, CFCs, polystyrene...

Weak comparison! There is a significant difference between breathing indoor air 24 hours a day and occasionally consuming tap water. Besides, those are mostly PVC pipes, and it is known that substances dissolve into water from them. That is why sometimes petroleum compounds are found in PET water bottles as well. Same principle. But I don’t let that drive me crazy. At least you can purify and filter water if it bothers you. What do you do about the air you breathe? Gas mask at home?? Sorry... you can also make a joke out of it! You can consider it harmless for yourself, fine. But what about infants/children? Everyone is free to decide. I have deliberately decided against it for the reasons mentioned.

Right, you can make a laughingstock out of it. The still ridiculously low contamination in the water is probably many times worse than PVC floors in a house with controlled indoor ventilation. And you should definitely do without a fireplace. Fine dust! Much worse than the supposed emissions from vinyl.
