Selection of the Land - Experiences

I would like to know your opinion on the selection of one of the plots of land shown in the picture below.

Of course, I have also thought about it myself and would like to explain my current favorite choices to you.

The only access road to the new development area is located to the north. This road (30km/h) is also supposed to lead to later planned new development areas (to the south). Therefore:

- no plot on the through road, only one on the traffic-calmed street

At first, we decided on the plot with the (entered by me) number 3. It is located on the traffic-calmed street and is not too close to the playground (southeast). However, at the moment it is unclear what will be built further south in the future. A multi-story house that would later block the sun to the garden would be very annoying.

So we then chose the plot with the number 2. This plot would fit best with the orientation of our solar system. But: the green strip (to the right of the plot) must later be planted with a row of trees. This means cost and work. Furthermore, the plot lies adjacent to a public road (to the right of the plot). This would massively facilitate a break-in into the house (my own opinion).

For this reason, we currently prefer the number 1. Here, although you are surrounded by neighbors on all sides, no strangers can "sneak behind the house."

I would be very interested in your opinion. Please simply post which plot you would find best and why. Of course, you can question or criticize my choice, but please only constructive criticism.

In which criminal hotspot do you live? I would choose 3 or 2... 2 direct neighbors are better than 5; at least that's how I feel. Considering the fact that you don't know what is being built for you down south, I would - depending on how busy the street is - choose 2. Row of trees or not. But that's all personal preference - if "security" is important to you and you couldn't sleep at night if not 5 neighbors keep watch, take 1 - meaning, it has to make you happy :)

On the plan I would tend to choose property 3.
The street is on the north side, the garden on the south side, I like the "surrounded by neighbors" location.

I agree with the previous poster: It's hard when you haven't seen a picture.

Regarding the plan: I like 2 and 3. 3 might be a bit more expensive since it's bigger.

Planting the trees in 2 is not a problem. It’s done quickly later on (and is fun).

Choose the one you think fits you better.

Regarding the size of the plots, I wouldn't care either about being surrounded by 5 neighbors. With us, each one would be 3-4 plots respectively ...

I agree with the previous writers. However, if your preference leans towards [Grundstück 1], I would consider taking the plot to the left of it. Then the house planning can also be done with morning sun.
