Seating at kitchen island yes/no

I am myself a fan of this counter solution with stools. You don't always have to see it as a dining area. What if you cook together with guests or have a coffee in between while preparing something in the kitchen. I find it indispensable in times of the communicative kitchen. I see the counter more as a communication bridge rather than a dining area. But that is my opinion.

I find these counters okay, but I think they change the look of a kitchen island. The appearance was also important to me: I like this free wide surface of the countertop. In this respect, we decided on a high table that can also be separated. And it is as it should be: the latest guests are standing around this small table. Here is a snapshot

We have done the same in our kitchen with the "Ess"Platz directly opposite the stove. I am curious how we will use it, but my idea is that I will mainly eat breakfast there (mostly alone, since it is quite early) and that you can also chop quietly there:

Thank you, we like it very much too. We only chose the hood because it was very cheap. I wouldn't have paid the regular price for it.
