Hello dear ones,
The interior plaster has been in for 4 weeks, and since Thursday, the screed has finally been laid in the house. Now my neighbors who are building with us were airing out and said that the attic is still very damp. Unfortunately, all the windows were closed when it was laid, and it is extremely hot, so it cannot be entered now. She ventilated the other two floors by shock airing. We will wait one more day.
Now the painter wants to come next week and prime the walls, etc. But I don’t want that yet. I want to ventilate thoroughly first and let the screed dry. But I wanted to ask you, do we actually have to wait? We are applying primer on the plaster and then spray paint directly.
What else do I have to consider regarding screed, and when can it be covered? What can be done in parallel when the screed is already load-bearing?
Best regards
Thanks!!
