Skip the basement; even if that may not make sense to you. Your budget covers a single-family house and a dormer; there is still room for a controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery, as well as funds for painting and floor coverings in EL ... if and only if the additional construction costs are not also included in the TEUR 280! A basement does not fit in there — you also cannot save enough elsewhere for the costs to cancel each other out. Rhine regards

The land is already available. Well, preferably house + garage without additional costs. But I think I’ll probably have to do without the dormer and garage. I’m now just waiting for the offers. What is actually cheaper, parquet or tiles?

You can't say that, tiles are usually more expensive to install.

What is cheaper depends on several factors such as:
- soil conditions
- necessary pretreatment
- installation method
- quality of the covering, etc.
This cannot be generalized.

In principle, one can put a garage etc. rather later than a basement, even if usually after the construction you don't have money for it for a few years (outdoor facilities, plants and the small stuff add up). But I can basically understand the original poster well, I also would not have built without a basement.

Perhaps it would be an option to do something yourself. If you feel confident or have someone who can help you
