Roller shutters with insect protection

Hello everyone!

We are getting a cooperative apartment in the rent-to-own model, which is still being built. That means we can have a say in some things. Although the underground garage hasn’t even been concreted yet, we have already received a letter from the company that supplies the roller shutters. We now have the option to buy an insect screen built into the roller shutters. Now my question to you:

Do you have something like that?
Is it useful?
Are they tight?
Are there any reviews?

I have already googled and I think they look quite practical and nice. We need insect protection anyway, because where we live there are unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes. But we don’t want to buy something that doesn’t work.

I would make that dependent on the extent to which they need to be replaced in the event of a defect. Personally, I prefer an independent system that is mounted in the window recess. I have a system from Insetto.
There you can configure and select.

With our roller shutter box, it is possible to install the insect protection roller blinds directly in the box....these then sit between the window and the roller shutters...maybe it is also such a system...

I don't have any, but it would be helpful. However, if I had a ventilation system, I probably wouldn't need one, since you wouldn't open windows then (would you?)
