Hello,
I want to install a central time control via an astro switch in our roller shutter control system. For this question, it probably does not matter whether each roller shutter gets its own timer or we only use a central one (the circuit behind it with relays, etc. already exists thanks to the electrician).
What I want, what the switch should be able to do:
- Astro function, i.e. enter postal code and the switch calculates for all 365 days of the year when the sun rises and sets respectively. At this time, the switch should send the up and down signal.
- Offset adjustable separately for up and down (meaning: in the morning raise one hour earlier than the astro time and in the evening lower 30 minutes later than the astro time)
- as large an offset as possible (2 hours sounds quite reasonable)
- a lockout period would be nice to have (lockout period means: "even if the sun sets only at 10:30 p.m., I go to bed at 10 p.m. and then the roller shutter should close at the latest" as well as "earliest raise at 8:00 a.m. and do not wake me up even if the sun rises already at 6:00 a.m.")
- automatic time change
Since in my case the switch will end up in the cellar in the control cabinet, the design is quite irrelevant to me. Features like brightness sensors also do not matter, as I want to work purely via the calculated sun positions according to postal code.
I have found several switches, of which I list here the known names (manufacturers):
- Rademacher Troll Comfort 5625 (Amazon: "Rademacher Troll Comfort including frame, ultra white, 36500012")
- €85.90
- including all components (base element + operating attachment)
- offset +/- 2h?
- adjustable separately?
- currently I tend towards this switch
- Jung CD5232T3WW cover with timer function universal
- €91.48
- plus suitable insert for electrical connection = €131.86
- Gira 130803 cover blind 2 System 55, pure white
- €85.90
- plus suitable insert for electrical connection = €129.91
- Busch-Jaeger 6455 comfort timer operating element 6455-101
- €86.60
- plus suitable insert for electrical connection = €130.81
- Jarolift THOR roller shutter timer engineered by RADEMACHER
- €39.99
- including "power supply"
- only +/- 30min offset
Maybe you can share your opinion and experience with the manufacturers in general or perhaps already specifically with one of the products. Have I perhaps forgotten another very good manufacturer?
Thank you very much.
