Roller shutter switch / Astro function - Jung / Rademacher-Busch-Jäger / Gira

We have Jarolift Thor and they fulfill almost all your wishes. With us, they are set by postal code using the astro function, additionally they close the shutters by 10 PM at the latest, even if it gets dark later. In the morning, they generally open at 7 AM, even if it gets light earlier or later. Regarding offset, it is possible to set a kind of "random principle" +/- 30 minutes, basically so potential burglars cannot observe a rhythm, but it looks as if the shutters open and close daily at different times. However, we do not use this function, but it is easy to set. The time change works automatically without problems (for us so far 3 times since we installed these things).

I have now ordered the Troll Comfort from Rademacher and already tested it. Good menu navigation and everything as desired. Offset as already mentioned +/-60 min.

I have now ordered the JaroLift Thor for the parents-in-law.

The Jarolift Thor can do Astro only in the evening, not for the morning; there you can only set a fixed time. Offset for Astro is +/- 30 min. Random mode varies +/- 30 minutes (offset is something different). According to the manual, you can set the sunrise and sunset times either Mon-Sun or each weekday separately, but not Mon-Fri and Sat+Sun.

The Troll Comfort can do all three, including Sat+Sun separately (where individual day settings achieve the same goal but with a bit more effort). The Troll Comfort also offers an Astro function in the morning.

Menus are the same on both. In my opinion, the Jarolift Thor at €40 instead of €85 is the cheaper, functionally reduced variant like the Troll Comfort; also, I consider the Troll design to be somewhat more sophisticated. In terms of structural components, both are almost identical.

Since I only need a single one, I got the more expensive Troll. If I had to equip every roller shutter, I would have chosen the Jarolift for cost reasons.
