We have Busch-Jaeger Reflex SI throughout the entire house for the following reasons:
[*]did not cost extra
[*]timeless classic (has been around for many years, so there is a high probability that parts can still be purchased in many years)
[*]large selection of different switches, sockets, and accessories (e.g., a really great USB charging station)
[*]the switches and sockets look very simple, so the risk that we will soon not like them anymore is not that high.

I think that’s good and very convincing! We will take the somewhat more "angular" version of B&J: Balance SI in white.
We just took a look at the Gira System 55 E2, we might like it. The price should definitely be reasonable, I have looked up some standard prices for boxes, switches, push buttons, and frames.
