And I was still thinking - maybe you don't like Lobelias. I find they are not too intrusive, fit in everywhere, and bloom all summer. If you look a bit - at the discounters, you often get 10 pieces for €1.99, they are not that big, but you can plant 3 or 4 together.

I like them and have often planted them in pots. At the moment, I am simply tired in terms of ideas.

I understand that well. But the garden is very important to me and that is why I like to deal with it and also appreciate suggestions - see Ilex

Thank you very much. I am always happy to receive ideas and suggestions, not only in the garden area. I hope that we can move in within two months. I have organized and coordinated the house construction as well as the interior design 80% on my own because my better half was sick for a long time and often in the hospital. I am glad that our site manager is always approachable and the executing companies do good work. The outdoor area is currently secondary; the main thing is that the "outbuildings" will be completed soon and the landscaping gardener can come back to lay the paving. I already have a new sunshade and the grill to go with it.

The grill is important
My husband is responsible for the technical stuff but I am responsible for the "feel-good atmosphere"
It will still be a while before we move in.
But we might put up the fence before moving in, so we can plant the shrubs and hedges relatively quickly. Today I found out that the butterfly bush has shallow roots. We will use that to loosen up the front hedge a bit.

Sounds good. My two men are building the carport together with our “son-in-law” and a friend of our son. I will post the pictures on the blog tomorrow. So far, the curses have been kept to a minimum.
