I almost don’t dare to write it, but the trenches were changed. Something didn’t fit... Now I have a “tree window” with a radius of about 4 m. Now I just have to research how my spherical locust tree roots.

But I’ll stay on it anyway and let you know as soon as I’ve found out something.

Annual plants require a lot of work. With bulbs, you always have to be careful, as many varieties propagate themselves and also deplete the soil. I’ve had all that behind me for almost 20 years. I’m done!!

Our favorite toy: the ride-on mower. Lawn is something nice. A standard tree, a half-standard tree, a few well-placed flower beds with little flowers and crops, and that’s it. Otherwise my husband will kill me.

*sobs* I just looked at the drainage plan from the building application documents. It's even worse than I thought.

Oh dear, I’m researching! I’m sure something will turn up. *comforts*

As a privacy screen towards the street, I probably only have a tall fence left.
As far as I'm concerned, the flower bulbs can then take over the entire front yard... it's not good for anything else anyway...

Then I already recommend Forget-me-not to you. They self-sow quickly and everything blooms a beautiful blue. Please, just no knotweed. It is hard to control.

Since you mention it - ever since we got the property, I had planned knotweed for the garage. Like my grandmother had.

Thanks for the tip about the forget-me-nots.... I think I need a piece of chocolate now... or a bar...
