Compared to a double-shell new building with insulation wool, I mean.

We have not yet decided on a stone for the interior. We are still postponing that because we are currently hesitant to make the decision. o_O

A really great project!

However you do it, you do it wrong ;) and at this point, in my opinion, it is even more important that the person executing it knows exactly what they are doing. We chose Multipor primarily because we have relatively small rooms and would have otherwise lost a lot of space. Your variant is probably cheaper anyway, and in the end, a capable energy consultant can assess it reasonably well.

We actually solved the issue of load-bearing capacity with the screw systems for ETICS where necessary. Those things are expensive, but the dowel or anchor system is apparently designed so that the insulation remains intact. We will find out eventually ;)

I am glad that this thread is coming up again. I saw this bathroom months ago and recently wondered where it was, because I really find it un-f*ing-believably beautiful. Those are all real plants you have there, right? Really great, this time I won’t forget to bookmark this here.

: If we had not - despite the statement of the structural engineer - wanted an additional load-bearing wall along with a ring beam, we would have also used Multipor. However, with almost 200 m² later, we feel we have rather too much area than too little, so it was not important for us.

: I would like to shine here now, but I have to admit that our plant wall no longer exists :D Either it is due to my talent for killing all plants or the room was too dark. It works for my sister. But she is also a natural talent when it comes to plants. For me, I had to replace about 1/3 of the plants every 4-5 months. That was too much effort and too expensive for me. Now there are two hanging pots in that spot - ... however, I just drowned one plant... the only thing I can grow are ferns and pothos, but the latter is as robust and as fast-growing as weeds. The banana plant survives, touch wood.

We are currently worried about the air layer... it is not 4 cm :( ... so we will probably have to make a phone call this evening.

Very nice project!

Unfortunately, there are only a few people here in the forum who are actually renovating or have at least done some work themselves (I don’t count laying a bit of parquet or wallpapering here).

We have also been renovating since 2017. Currently, we are plastering 2 walls in the basement with [Sanierputz], then tiles will go into the room and my husband’s workshop will be set up there. But our property is not comparable at all, we only have a [REH] from 1921 with 100m2 of living space. And also not your budget (not even close^^).
